Attend the Design Expo to visit with 75 firms from around the U.S. to learn about full-time and internship opportunities in architecture, interiors, landscape architecture, graphic design, regional and community planning.
The 2017 Design Expo will host 75 professional firms to discuss full-time and internship opportunities with students from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, March 10, at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Firms attending the expo are seeking students who are currently studying various design fields. Disciplines include architecture, interior architecture and product design, interior design, graphic design, landscape architecture and regional and community planning.
Some of the firms attending include: Corgan, Perkins Eastman, BNIM Architects, Cannon Design, GLMV Architecture Inc., PGAV Destinations, Civic Plus, Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc., and Perkins + Will.

Students may also download the K-State Mobile App, and select the “Career Fairs” icon to see a full list of Design Expo employers, access an interactive career fair map, and create a list of employers to visit.
Free shuttles will be running from the Union Courtyard to the Hilton every 20 minutes starting at 9 a.m. Students who wish to drive on their own are instructed to only park in the parking garage at the corner of 4th St. and Ft. Riley Blvd.
To make a favorable impression, it is important that Design Expo attendees dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resume, portfolio materials, or work samples. Students must also bring their K-State student ID.
